With Election Day less than two weeks away, let’s take a moment and meet the candidates running for office to represent and serve you at the state and federal levels!
I couldn’t help but notice that every Democratic candidate for state level or higher for our area is a woman, except for the two running mates. Has that ever happened before here or in Indiana at all? I don’t know, but it’s awesome to see strong, intelligent women leading out in front.
Take some time to get to know them, maybe buy some merch, but most importantly, don’t forget to vote! The next two weeks are going to be nerve-wracking as the election news coverage reaches a fever pitch, with talks of polls and early voting numbers packing the news cycles.
When the polls are promising for our candidates, it’s too easy to get comfortable. So go ahead, vote early if you can. Get it out of the way, and we’ll see you on the other side of November 5th.
