Local Party Reorganization — What You Need to Know

According to rules set forth by the Indiana Democratic Party, we’ll be hold­ing an orga­ni­za­tion­al meet­ing on March 1^st, the first Saturday in March, at 10am. This is an every-four-years event, so it’s impor­tant that we be aware of what is required for this meeting.

• We will be vot­ing for the fol­low­ing offices of our local party: 
  • Chair
  • Vice chair
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
• To declare your can­di­da­cy for any of these posi­tions, you must do so to to the Fayette County sec­re­tary, Diane Rose, no lat­er than mid­night on February 19, 2025. Be sure to CC Chair Sheila Sturgeon as well!

• Candidacy dec­la­ra­tions will not be accept­ed dur­ing the orga­ni­za­tion meet­ing on March 1.
• You must be present to vote. Proxy vot­ing will not be accepted.
• Voting ends at 1pm.
