Planning Meeting

A spe­cial meet­ing to dis­cuss resis­tance efforts in light of gen­er­al elec­tion results and the impend­ing real­i­ties of Project 2025 and also to dis­cuss local com­mu­ni­ty needs that we as Democrats could or should be meet­ing or work­ing toward resolving.

Proposed agen­da items include:

1. Liaisons and sup­port efforts for local com­mu­ni­ty out­reach pro­grams like Connection Café, The Shelter, House of Ruth, etc.
2. Building data­bas­es of lit­er­a­ture and com­mu­ni­ty resources
3. Building banks of repro­duc­tive health items
4. Building schol­ar­ship funds through fundraising
5. Creating income streams to sup­port the local Democrats
6. Finding sym­pa­thet­ic par­ty mem­bers and can­di­dates for local elections

Anyone with a stake in this com­mu­ni­ty who wants to see it bet­tered is wel­come to come attend.
