Beautiful weather here in Connersville as the Fayette County Democrats welcomed Cinde Wirth, candidate for the House of Representatives, from Indiana’s 6th District.
Delicious cupcakes — made by our own chairperson and candidate for coroner, Sheila Sturgeon — and champaign were served, and we all got to pick Cinde’s brain in a relaxed, open setting.
Cinde is a 7th-generation resident of Bartholomew County where she lives with her husband Trent. She is an educator with a strong scientific background and who continues to further her own education even while devoting her time to public service. She’s passionate about the environment, an advocate for reproductive freedom, and has experience on Capitol Hill already, having served as an expert advisor on education and science to the 115th and 116th Congresses.
And we want to send her back to the Hill, this time as a Congresswoman!
Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to come spend the day with us, Cinde and Trent. Come back and visit us any time!
We didn’t have a huge turnout, but we all had a good time. Being with Cinde and Trent is like being with family; we love them like family.
