I have read all of John's books... and those coauthored with others. Between John an Brent, I have to say this one stands out to me as the best. At least to me in my present place in the journey Home. I honestly wish I could meet both of these men, not only to personally shake their hands and thank them for this contribution of their experiences with God... but to actually know them and spend time in fellowship with them. YouTube videos just don't cut it! Lol If not in this side of the Sacred Romance, then definitely on the other. If either of you dear gentlemen ever read this review... "The Sacred Romance" describes the way that our relationship with God is SUPPOSED to be, and then discusses the hardships that hinder the ideal relationship with Him.
