5. Old Business

• Celebration in the Ville- made $35 from water
• Sno Cones- $41, donat­ed to the Women’s Club
• Dinner at Fair, only day avail­able is Friday, that is the demo­li­tion der­by, not a good day to do, won’t do

6. New Business

• June 14, 2025 No King’s Protest 12 – 3pm at the Courthouse
• Fair events: Way Entertainment Karaōke Monday, Bloom Diggity karaōke on Wednesday. Sheila mak­ing tum­blers and Tshirts to sell, may sell water, Remi and Committee plan­ning an event. 50/​50 will be done every night. Will need to renew the gam­ing license- expires June 30, 2025
• Bingo- Elks Club in Rushville, Monday/​Wednesday nights, invit­ing peo­ple to go observe and get infor­ma­tion from them. Still up in the air about where to do gaming/​bingo, neu­tral grounds
• Mailing list- ask­ing for month­ly donations
• Gaming license- dis­cus­sion about renew­al. Men’s Club offered to pay for it. Jay Halveland made a motion to renew, Donna Ruf sec­ond­ed, motion passed. Jordan asked who over­sees raf­fles etc. Underneath the fundrais­ing com­mit­tee. Jordan vol­un­teered to join the fundrais­ing com­mit­tee. List of han­dlers etc will be revised
• Rummage Sale left­overs, went to Tammy’s yard sale.
• Terry look­ing into new sig­nage. Got a quote from Cain Signs for instal­la­tion. Asked if it needs to be light­ed, dis­cus­sion. Suggested to find a local artist per­haps to make one. Also sug­gest­ed Papermoon/​different com­pa­ny because Cain is known to be pricey
• Sno Cone machine- machine was sup­posed to be bought by Jaime and donat­ed to the Central Committee. Tammy instead bought and donat­ed it to the Women’s Club

7. Public Comment/​Open Discussion

• Suggested a “com­mu­ni­ty” fun day, pitch-in etc that’s not focused just on pol­i­tics and instead strength­en bonds with­in the group
• The Haven com­mu­ni­ty meal sign-up sheet passed around. Meal is June 12- sec­ond Thursday every month. Dinner is served at 5:30
• Question about dona­tions from DNC- the state par­ty is get­ting mon­ey divvied up from large-scale dona­tion efforts, but it doesn’t trick­le down to counties
• 2026 Offices up for re-elec­tion- need to start recruit­ing- start talk­ing to friends/​neighbors, etc
