       • Rummage Sale Sat Apr 12, 2025 at HQ- need to clean out the kitchen and add to the sale, will need vol­un­teers to work 8 – 5. Need to vote on items that don’t sell- where to take them. Donna Ruf made motion to donate, Remi sec­ond­ed, motion passed

5. Old Business
   • Livingood grant came in, $150 will be giv­en toward the Zoom cost, the rest in build­ing fund to put toward window
   • Connection Café- Terry went to the meet­ing, donat­ed clothes- thank you Jay and Gary for help­ing with that. Can still use more cloth­ing. Urged all to vis­it to bet­ter under­stand the mis­sion of the Café and com­bat misconceptions
   • County offices up for reelec­tion- list­ed on web­site, need to find and recruit people
   • Trustee (Jennings Twp)- Jason moved, Twp posi­tion is open, can­not find any­body to take the posi­tion even temp. Will go to the GOP if we can’t. Tammy Legere may know some­body from Springersville.
6. New Business
   • Primary is May 2, 2026
   • Welcome new PCs and Vices. Need vices for new chairs
   • Told at dis­trict meet­ing that new PC hand­books will be coming
   • Committees- still open seats on each, send­ing around signups again
   • Zoom is paid for the year with our own busi­ness account. Need all email address­es. Will be send­ing out a link to get it set up on devices. Logons will be 15 min­utes before each meet­ing. Next week will have every­thing all set up and ready for the May meet­ing. Question was brought up whether the expan­sion would be make the meet­ings more public
   • Bereavement- nor­mal amount was $25 that CC would donate to bereave­ments. Sheila made a motion to raise it to $60. Greg sec­ond­ed. Jay sug­gest­ed high­er. Tammy want­ed dis­cus­sion- under the impres­sion that the mon­ey was a dona­tion to a char­i­ty in the name of the per­son. Donation to char­i­ty vs. flow­ers. Purpose- out­ward show of our sup­port in hon­or of the fam­i­ly? Suggested to donate to Connection Café if a char­i­ty is not sug­gest­ed. Keep the $25 but add to the cost with dona­tions dur­ing the meet­ing? Terry sug­gest­ed tabling. Tammy’s pri­or­i­ty for the club is to elec­tions- less mon­ey going to that. Bereavement is nice but unnec­es­sary. Tabling until May meeting.
7. Public Comment/​Open Discussion
   • Remi- involve­ment in activism- devel­op­ing teams for activism, research, recruit­ment etc. for peo­ple that want to help but don’t want to nec­es­sar­i­ly be more involved in elec­tions (Voices for change)
   • Hands off protests Apr 5, 2025Greensburg, Indy, Muncie
   • 5Calls- post­ed on the blog
   • Increasing fre­quen­cy of meet­ings? Or do vir­tu­al meet­ings- dig­i­tal cal­en­dars etc, add Signal chat etc for com­mu­ni­ca­tions in the meantime? 
     • Suggested to form a Communications Committee- Matthew made a motion, Remi sec­ond­ed, motion carried
   • Digital copy of agen­das to be includ­ed with minutes
   • Community Dinner at the Haven- very suc­cess­ful. Next April 10, Dinner starts at 5:30
     • Menu: Salisbury steak din­ner- Sending sign up sheet around
